  Useless on BA flights

  While flying home with BA I tried to use the BA app during the flight to check on our connection. Not only did the app not work, but it tried to force me into some Google based 2FA - on a iPhone where the keychain which I built is already 2 factors and synced between all my devices. And works even if I loose my phone and use my iPad. As a result we can’t even see our boarding passes for our connection anymore. This is by far the worst airline app I’ve used. The BA flight crew didn’t even know how to assist me in the air they pointed me to the website instead, as did the customer service. Why have an app if it doesn’t even work on your own flights and it’s just a skin for a webpage!?

  BA In App Experience

  I am a loyal British Airways customer and club member. I am grateful for the service and care BA staff provide for my frequent Atlantic crossings. The app is improving each time I make a booking. In person assistance is readily available when new rules create challenges. For example with dual nationals required to carry both passports . The ability to store both passports for easy in app check in is something that needs to be an option. I am confident it will be if not already.
