  Worse App In History Thieves

  My experience with Airbnb has been absolutely unacceptable and beyond disappointing. When someone is depending on a booking credit to secure a place to stay, this is not a game, and it is not something that should be handled carelessly. Having to fight for a credit that I believe I am entitled to while dealing with an urgent housing situation has caused me unnecessary stress, frustration, and hardship. Airbnb needs to understand that behind every account is a REAL HUMAN BEING, not just a reservation number or a dollar sign. People use this platform because they need somewhere to stay. When an issue involving a booking credit is not resolved promptly, the consequences can affect someone’s actual ability to secure a roof over their head. The lack of a satisfactory resolution has left me feeling ignored, let down, and completely dissatisfied with the customer service experience. A company of this size should be capable of communicating clearly, treating customers with respect, and addressing urgent situations with accountability and urgency. I should not have to repeatedly fight to get answers about my own booking credit. Customers deserve transparency, fairness, and a clear explanation of what is happening with their money or credits. I want my issue taken seriously, my booking credit addressed immediately, and a written explanation of how Airbnb intends to resolve this matter. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AIRBNB BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. If you are considering using this platform, understand that when something goes wrong, the way your issue is handled matters just as much as the booking itself. This review reflects my experience and my dissatisfaction with how this situation has been handled. I hope Airbnb takes accountability and makes this right instead of allowing another customer to experience the same frustration. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. DO BETTER, AIRBNB.

  AVOID booking a place through this app

  Airbnb doesn’t care about you if the host does illegal things to you such as threaten or harass you or abuse you. They side with the host and continue to allow the host to rent out places because all Airbnb cares about is the money. I have a problematic host to the point where I had to seek legal help and call the police yet Airbnb allows the host to continue renting out the rooms and allowed him to leave a retaliatory review on my profile and they sided with him. If you are in Jersey City, avoid the host named Fern or Alex as they are both the same person with multiple fake accounts. Save your sanity and wellbeing and please splurge on a hotel even extended stay.
