Create 3D photos for Facebook. Facebook requires two files: a regular photo and a grayscale depth map. The app creates these two photos using the LiDAR sensor on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro. Unfortunately, you can't upload 3D photos directly to the Facebook app, but you can upload them in the browser on your iPhone/iPad or Mac using Safari, Chrome, or Edge. To do so, log in to Facebook in your browser and upload the two photos. Facebook immediately recognizes the images as 3D and creates a third photo that can be easily moved.
