The system combines preview items aligned with upcoming instruction and rehearsal items scheduled for optimal retention. Scheduling is powered by a a cognitive model that prioritizes vocabulary you're likely to forget — keeping you in an optimal challenge zone.
SCAFFOLDED LEARNING PROGRESSION
Maya Trainer progressively develops your skills through multiple interaction types: multiple choice recognition, typed keyboard recall, audio listening comprehension, passage-based reading, and full sentence translation. As you demonstrate mastery at each level, the same vocabulary appears in increasingly challenging formats — building genuine proficiency, not just surface-level recognition.
LISTENING COMPREHENSION
Develop auditory processing skills with native audio transcription exercises. Adjust playback speed to build listening stamina and receive similarity scoring feedback on your accuracy.
