Stitch Belle

Stitch Belle is a needlepoint design app for creating virtual hand-painted needlepoint canvases on iPad.

The app lets users create a new needlepoint project, choose canvas dimensions and mesh count, import a reference image, and virtually paint canvas intersections using a color palette. Users can manually paint, erase, pick existing colors from the canvas, and generate a draft painted canvas from an image. Stitch Belle also supports viewing the design as a printable chart and exporting project materials for personal stitching or design documentation.

The app is document-based and uses the iPadOS document browser to create, open, save, and manage Stitch Belle project files. Project files contain the user’s canvas design data, palette colors, and related project information.

Stitch Belle is intended for needlepoint designers, stitchers, and hobbyists who want to plan, trace, draft, or document painted needlepoint canvas designs digitally before stitching or producing a painted canvas.
