ZIPTER - Secure Zip Archiver

ZIPTER is a modern archiver for Mac with support for today’s formats and encryption.
Formats & compression
Create and open ZIP, 7z, AGE, HCAX, plus zstd, lz4, brotli, tar, gzip, bzip2, and more. Choose compression level, split large archives into volumes, and set exclude filters by pattern.
Protection & encryption
Lock archives with a password: ZIP and 7z use AES; AGE uses ChaCha20-Poly1305. The HCAX format adds an extra encryption and access-control layer for sensitive data. Encryption is used only for archive contents on your device.
Safety when opening
Built-in checks for common risky attachment types warn about executables and scripts (e.g. .exe, .scr) before you extract, so you’re less likely to run unwanted code by mistake.
Usability
SwiftUI interface, Drag & Drop, quick browse of archive contents, and extract only what you need. The app runs in the macOS sandbox and does not send your data to third-party servers.
