On macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled, Audido goes further: generate a concise AI summary of any recording and extract action items automatically — all processed locally using Apple Foundation Models. Choose from five Whisper model sizes — from Tiny (75 MB) to Large v3 (1.5 GB) — depending on your speed and accuracy preference. Supports Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and auto-detect. AI Summarisation & Action Items On supported Macs (Apple Silicon, macOS 26, Apple Intelligence enabled), Audido generates a summary and extracts action items from any transcript. No API key. No internet. No cost. Tags & Notes Add freeform notes and searchable tags to every recording to keep your library organised. PRIVACY Audido processes everything locally. No audio, transcript or summary is ever sent to a server. The only external calls are downloading Whisper models from Hugging Face (one-time, on demand) and searching podcast metadata via the iTunes API.
