Froshiki is an intuitive, easy-to-use compression app for Mac. Just drop your files to compress images, videos, PDFs, and audio all at once. The biggest frustration with compression apps is ending up with files that are smaller but no longer usable. Froshiki doesn't compress just for the sake of compression. It keeps quality and compatibility intact while making your files genuinely smaller.

[Quality Slider]
Quickly adjust compression with the quality slider. Values are automatically mapped to the appropriate parameters for each format — so you can tune everything intuitively without thinking about format-specific settings.

[Image Resizing]
Set a maximum long edge in pixels and oversized images are scaled down before they are compressed. You only specify the long edge; the aspect ratio is preserved, and images already under the limit pass through untouched (nothing is ever enlarged). For images bound for the web, trimming the dimensions first works better than pushing the compression harder.

[PDF Compression]
Only the raster images embedded in PDFs are compressed via resolution reduction. Text and vector graphics are lossless by nature, so the sharpness of text and the quality of illustrations remain completely intact.
