Nexoniq is a quiet, native LAN monitor for macOS. It scans your local network, identifies every device by combining multiple discovery signals, and watches each one for uptime — without ever sending a single byte off your Mac.

Nexoniq runs as a menu-bar app. One click reveals a 400-pixel hero panel with the live online ratio, a 24-hour heartbeat sparkline, and your devices grouped by category. Open the full window for a 7-day × 96-cell uptime matrix and per-device detail panels.

LAYERED DEVICE FINGERPRINTING

Every device on your network is identified by combining multiple signals:
• ICMP + TCP-connect liveness checks
• mDNS / Bonjour and SSDP / UPnP discovery
• NetBIOS Node Status and SNMPv2c reads
• Targeted TCP port scan with banner capture
• HTTP, TLS, SSH and SMB probes
• MAC OUI lookup against the full IEEE registry

A rule-based classifier maps these signals onto 30 device types — routers, switches, firewalls, Macs, Windows PCs, Linux hosts, servers, phones, tablets, TVs, game consoles, printers, NAS, cameras, IoT sensors, VoIP phones, and more.

UPTIME AT A GLANCE

A 7-day rolling uptime matrix shows availability at 15-minute granularity for every device. The compact 24-hour sparkline on each row makes flapping or scheduled downtime visible instantly. Status colours follow a single semantic palette: teal for online, amber for "seen recently", coral for offline.

YOUR NETWORKS, KEPT SEPARATE

For people who run more than one network of their own — a home LAN, a home lab, the office. Carry your Mac between them and Nexoniq keeps each one separate, recognizing each by its router, so two of your networks that share the same IP range never get mixed up. Devices, uptime history, and alerts are scoped per network, and moving between them — Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN, or sleep/wake — is detected automatically. Service monitors can be public (checked on every network) or private to a single one.

PER-DEVICE ALERTS

Choose triggers per device: went offline, came back online, sustained downtime, new open port, or TLS certificate expiring soon. Built-in flap suppression silences brief blips, burst coalescing groups simultaneous outages into a single notification, and global quiet hours respect your sleep schedule. Acknowledge alerts inline, mute individual devices for an hour, or disable the master switch.

EXPORT YOUR INVENTORY

File menu → Export Devices… (⇧⌘E) saves a snapshot of every device and service to CSV — filter by All, Online only, or With alerts, choose column groups, and scope to the current network or all of them. Excel-compatible UTF-8, RFC 4180 quoting, ISO 8601 dates.

100% LOCAL — ALWAYS

Nexoniq does not have a server. There is no account, no cloud, no analytics, no third-party SDK. Every IP, MAC, hostname, and uptime sample stays inside your Mac's sandboxed container. Your network map never leaves your machine.

DESIGNED FOR MACOS

Built natively in SwiftUI with SwiftData persistence. Honors Reduce Motion, includes accessibility labels, runs in the menu bar without a Dock icon, supports light and dark modes, and integrates with Login Items via SMAppService. A built-in Tech Talk section explains how Nexoniq scans your network and how uptime is calculated — offline, in-app.
