Stamped: Media Organizer

Stamped is a postmark for your memories. Point it at a folder of photos and videos and it
renames and organizes them by when and where they were taken — no library to import, it
works right on your files.

WHAT IT DOES
- Copy or move only the files you select.
- Rename by date taken (yyyymmdd_hhmmss): photos from EXIF, videos from QuickTime/mvhd.
- Times stay as recorded — Stamped detects whether a video's stored time is true UTC or
  local, so names match the clock instead of shifting to your Mac's time zone.
- See every new name in a live preview before you commit.
- Collision-safe numbering, an optional label, subfolders, and a media-only filter.
- Undo the last transfer with one click (copies go to Trash, moves are put back).

SMART EVENTS
- Automatically group photos and videos into named event and trip folders, such as
  20260606_NiagaraFalls_NY_USA, by detecting gaps in time and location.
- Choose how much place to include: City, City + State, or City + State + Country.
- Reverse geocoding runs on-device — only coordinates are looked up, never your photos.
- Refine any detected place with your own label (e.g. New_York_Coney_Island).
- Organize into dated folder trees (2026, 2026-03, 2026/03/14), per-event folders, or flat.

Smart Events, place names, and dated folder trees are available through an in-app purchase.

Stamped works entirely on your Mac and only reads the folders you choose. Your photos and
videos never leave your device.
