Progress isn't a bar — it's a tapestry. In Warp the loom weaves cloth row by coloured row, and the cloth growing up your screen is the very thing you're paid for. Watch it fill in, pick by pick, in a warm Georgian weaver's workshop.
Warp is an idle weaving tycoon built on one honest idea: thread is finite. You program the weave with PATTERN CARDS — each card is a punch-row naming which of your five warp threads lift on every pick. The loom draws that thread from a per-colour SPOOL you can actually run empty. Let a colour's spool run dry and its warp goes slack and grey; the cloth shows an undyed slub gap until you refill it or the spinning jenny tops it up. Rarer colours and longer solid runs weave richer cloth and pay more ells.
Grow the workshop: buy more shuttles for parallel looms, a faster beater for quicker picks, bigger spools, a spinning jenny that refills while you weave, and dye vats that unlock crimson, indigo, saffron and teal. When the tapestry is finished, Cut the Cloth to bank heirloom patterns — a permanent multiplier that carries your dye vats into a fresh warp.
It runs while you're away: the loom keeps weaving up to ten hours and pays you on return.
