KeyDeck turns your keyboard into a launcher for the apps you use every day
From the App Store SourceKeyDeck turns your keyboard into a launcher for the apps you use every day. Assign a shortcut like Option+S to Safari or Control+Option+N to Notes. Press it anywhere and the app opens instantly — or comes straight to the front if it's already running. Press the same shortcut again and you're right back in the app you were using. FEATURES • Launch or switch with one shortcut — opens the app if it's closed, brings it forward if it's running • Press again to go back — the same shortcut returns you to the app you were just using • Any combination you like — mix Control, Option, Shift and Command with letters, numbers and symbols • Duplicate detection — KeyDeck tells you right away if a shortcut is already in use • Turn shortcuts on or off for each app • Lives quietly in the menu bar, or hide the icon completely • Optional launch at login • Works with any keyboard layout and input method PRIVATE BY DESIGN KeyDeck doesn't need Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission and never reads what you type. Your shortcuts are stored only on your Mac. No accounts, no tracking, no network access. GETTING STARTED 1. Open KeyDeck and click "Add App…" 2. Click "Set Shortcut" and press the keys you want 3. Press your shortcut from anywhere — and press it again to go back Tip: If you hide the menu bar icon, open KeyDeck again from Spotlight or the Applications folder to bring back the settings window.
