  Caught in a loop

  Got a new phone. Received messages to sign into my Microsoft account. I use authenticator. Opened app. It kept asking me to open the app and enter the number shown. I was already in the app. No way to get out. Finally gave up and used text messaging for code. Don’t know why the app was in a loop that would not allow me to use it for authentication. This normally works great but not today.

  Looping inside itself

  Why am i trying to use the authenticator and it requires to get a code from the authenticator to log into the authenticator? This is the most backwards loop i can find. No option for logging in other than a constant loop, and no i do not have a QR code from my organization, i have my password that i set up with them and you so i could log into their app and it keeps looping me to here!
