LivingBird is back and alive with a few tweaks to continue delivering the best and only X experience on your Apple TV!

LivingBird brings X (formerly Twitter) to your Apple TV. Browse your home timeline, explore trending topics, view user profiles, and engage
with posts — all optimized for the big screen and the Siri Remote.

SETUP — BRING YOUR OWN API KEY
  LivingBird connects directly to the X API using your own developer credentials. Here's how to get started:

  1. Go to developer.x.com and sign in with your X account
  2. Create a new project and app in the Developer Portal
  3. Choose a pricing plan (see below)
  4. Generate your API Key, API Secret, Access Token, and Access Token Secret
  5. Enter these four credentials in the app on first launch

API PRICING — MORE AFFORDABLE THAN EVER
  X recently overhauled its API pricing. The old fixed tiers ($100–$5,000/month) have been replaced with a pay-per-use model where you only pay
  for what you actually use:

  - Reading a post: $0.005
  - User profile lookup: $0.01
  - Creating a post: $0.01
  - No monthly subscription or usage caps
  - Full access to the API

For casual personal use — scrolling your timeline, reading replies, liking posts — this typically costs just a few dollars per month. You can monitor your usage and costs in real time through the X Developer Console. A dashboard within LivingBird is planned.

A Basic tier ($200/month) is also available if you prefer a fixed plan, but that has limited access to the API compared to the pay as you use model.

WHY BRING YOUR OWN KEY?
  LivingBird does not collect, store, or transmit your data to any third-party server. Your credentials stay on your device and communicate
  directly with the X API. You are in full control of your account, your usage, and your costs.

  - X API developer credentials (see setup instructions above)
