The following enhancement combinations are recommended for processing digital audio files.
FRANCINSTIEN T-Sym + Groove (Hi-Res)
- Converts audio files specifically for playback on loudspeaker systems.
- FRANCINSTIEN T-Sym stereo shuffling improves realism of stereo tracks whilst Groove emulates the warmth of of vinyl replay.
- The Groove algorithm ensures that Pspatial Audio's Hi-Res precision upscaling algorithm is engaged to double the frame-rate of 44.1kHz/48kHz files (single-rate) to 88.1kHz/96kHz (dual-rate). Sample resolution of 16-bit files is also increased to 24-bit with a precision dithering algorithm.
Head Space + Groove (Hi-Res)
- Converts audio files specifically for playback on headphones.
- Head Space provides an experience of greatly enhanced clarity with the miniature band or orchestra leaving the confines of the head and seeming to come from loudspeakers in a real acoustic space.
- Groove emulates the warmth of of vinyl replay in conjunction with Pspatial Audio's Hi-Res precision upscaling algorithm.
Aria 5.1 Surround Upmix + Groove (Hi-Res)
- Converts audio files specifically for playback on surround sound systems.
- Aria 5.1 Surround Upmix provides a high-quality, adaptive stereo to 5.1 up-conversion whilst Groove emulates the warmth of of vinyl replay in conjunction with Pspatial Audio's Hi-Res precision upscaling algorithm.
- Aria 51 is unique in that it uses the Centre loudspeaker channel to implement FRANCINSTIEN correction.
- Whereas most stereo-to-5.1 conversion algorithms degrade stereo reproduction by applying a static (or dynamic) mono signal to the Center channel, the Aria 51 algorithm actually improves standard stereo reproduction whilst adding the extra dimension of surround-sound. Aria 51 also generates an extra LFE signal from the infra-bass of the incoming stereo.
