Sector is a raw HFS disk image editor and creator for virtual disk devices like Blue SCSI, Zulu SCSI, and Floppy Emu and emulators like Mini vMac, Basilisk II, and SheepShaver. You can use it to create and edit HFS disk images including transferring files in and out of the disk image. Features: - Create raw HFS disk images (typically .img, .hda files) - Delete, move, and rename files inside raw HFS disk images - Transfer files in and out of raw HFS disk images - Change type and creator codes of files on HFS disk images - Preserve resource forks with automatic MacBinary and Binhex support for transfers both in and out - Easy drag and drop interface; drag directly to/from Finder Note that Sector cannot edit HFS+, MFS, or APFS disk images. Nor can it edit compressed or encrypted disk image formats. You should backup all disk images with valuable data before editing them with Sector.
