Bring plant MIDI into your DAW, wirelessly. If you own a PlantWave, this is how its plant-generated MIDI gets into your studio. Over Bluetooth, no cables, no adapters. Route to Ableton Live, Logic Pro, MainStage, hardware synths through your audio interface, modular gear, or anything else that speaks Core MIDI. Each PlantWave you connect appears as its own virtual MIDI port, named after the device, so your DAW sees it the way it sees any other input. Pick a destination from a dropdown: an IAC bus, a network MIDI session, or any system destination. Connect more than one PlantWave and they each get their own port. Each device's MIDI channel and destination are visible at a glance, so you can avoid accidentally piling signals on top of each other. Bridge is also where you tune the device itself, live. Adjust sensitivity, LED brightness, MIDI mode, MIDI channel, CC number, root note, and scale. The plant responds right away. Rename a device so you can tell your Monstera from your Pothos at a glance. Battery level, signal strength, and firmware version are all visible while connected. A small scrolling piano roll next to each device shows what's actually coming through. Notes appear from the bottom and grow while held, then drift upward after release, with CC values plotted alongside. It's a live monitor of what your plant is playing, handy as a sanity check before you hit record, or as a window into what each plant's signal looks like across a session. Those fluctuations reflect water movement, photosynthesis, and the plant's continuously changing bioelectrical state. The device translates them into MIDI in real time. Bridge gets that MIDI into your computer over Bluetooth and routes it where you want it. The signal is real. Each plant produces a unique, non-repeating data stream. Notes are not on a grid. CC values reflect plant activity, not a directional trend. PlantWave is a generative instrument with a living source.
