Whether you're presenting, teaching, reviewing designs, or recording a tutorial — press Ctrl+P and start annotating instantly over any app. INSTANT SCREEN MARKUP One global hotkey activates annotation mode from anywhere on your Mac. No need to switch apps, open windows, or take screenshots first. Draw right on top of what you see. PROFESSIONAL BRUSHES & EFFECTS Six brush types give you the right tool for every situation: • Pen — clean, consistent strokes for pointing things out • Pressure Pen — responds to trackpad and tablet pressure for natural handwriting • Spray — soft airbrush for filling and shading areas with gradual color buildup • Highlighter — translucent overlay for emphasizing text and UI elements • Fire — animated flame particles that flicker and rise from your strokes • Smoke — soft, billowing wisps that drift upward and fade to gray Each brush has adjustable size and opacity. Draw a line that starts on one screen and continues onto the next. Every display shows your annotations in perfect sync. STAYS OUT OF YOUR WAY T-Annotate lives in your menu bar — no dock icon, no floating windows when idle. It adapts to Dark Mode and Light Mode automatically. Launch at login and forget it's there until you need it. UNDO & REDO Made a mistake? Cmd+Z undoes your last stroke. Cmd+Shift+Z brings it back. Undo and redo buttons are also available on the floating toolbar. DRAW STRAIGHT LINES Hold Shift while drawing to constrain your stroke to a perfectly horizontal or vertical line. Hold D to snap to 45-degree diagonals. Great for underlining, crossing out, and drawing arrows. KEYBOARD-DRIVEN WORKFLOW Switch colors (1-6), select brushes (Q/W/E/R/T/Y), adjust size ([ / ]), adjust brush opacity (↑ / ↓), change background opacity (comma / period), undo/redo (Cmd+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z), erase all (Delete), and exit (Esc) — all without touching the mouse. A floating toolbar is also available for mouse-only workflows.
