Chronos: Auto-Scheduler

Chronos auto-schedules your tasks into Google Calendar, then reshuffles them every 30 minutes as your day changes. No AI. No magic. No bloated features. Just deterministic, rule-based scheduling that works reliably.

When you finish something early, a meeting runs long, or a new deadline lands, Chronos moves everything around to keep your priorities visible and your schedule realistic. No manual drag-and-drop. No daily planning ritual. Just a calendar that stays current.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your tasks: set hours, deadlines, and priority (ASAP, High, Medium, Low).
2. Connect Google Calendar: Chronos reads your existing events as blocked time.
3. Chronos schedules everything, fitting tasks into your availability windows, respecting priorities and deadlines.
4. Every 30 minutes, it reshuffles, adapting to completions, new events, and shifting priorities.

SMART SCHEDULING

- Multi-pass algorithm: preferred windows first, then availability hours, then overflow. Nothing gets dropped.
- Task chunking: break large tasks into focused work blocks (30 min to 4 hours).
- Hard deadlines: when a deadline is immovable, Chronos overrides lower-priority blocks to fit it in.
- Buffer time: add breathing room between scheduled blocks.

RECURRING TASKS

Set tasks to repeat daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, or every N days. Assign preferred days and time windows. Chronos reshuffles recurring work just like one-off tasks, so your weekly review always finds a slot.

AVAILABILITY WINDOWS

Define when you work: Business Hours, Evenings, Weekends, or fully custom windows with per-day schedules and lunch breaks. Tasks only land in times you've chosen.

YOUR DATA, YOUR WAY

Tasks are stored as a simple JSON file in a folder you pick: iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or anywhere else. Sync across machines with the cloud service you already use. No account to create. No server to trust.
