Wildmate is chess with a deck of curveballs. Every turn you can play one card before your chess move or instead of it. Burn a card from your opponent's hand, freeze a piece in place, swap colors and hands mid-game, draw the perfect combination, or unleash a Wild card that can become anything. Classic chess rules still decide the game: checkmate wins, stalemate draws. But the path to mate is never the same twice. Some cards (Skip, Pass, Reverse, +1, +2, Wild, Mirror) replace your move; others (Burn, Freeze, Draw 2) sit on top of it. Your hand refills to 5 cards at the end of each turn. Run your opponent out of options, then close it out with a clean checkmate. NO ADS, NO TRACKING Wildmate doesn't collect any personal data. Multiplayer is peer-to-peer through Apple's frameworks.
