  Maddening

  I’m currently in Portugal and it seems that the city is divided into areas that only have Bolt and Bird. I have no problems with Bolt, but regardless of what card I try to use with Bird, I cannot add payment. I’ve confirmed with my banks that there are no problems or blocks with the cards and I’m told that despite multiple “declines” there have been no activities logged from Bird trying to authorize any of the cards. I tried contacting Bird help and I get a confirmation email that they’ve received the Help request, there’s never any follow up. I’ve tried everything, including having a friend log into my account in the US with both her and my cards but the story is always the same. There are no alternatives to Bird in certain areas and since they own that market, I guess they just don’t care. I can say with certainty that at least a half dozen expats have had the same problem.

  Affordrdable rate but scammy transaction

  I only rode less than 6 miles and the app is trying to hit me with a double charge. No obvious explanation as to why… i will be disputing with bank! I got sent a receipt for $20.96 but the app is trying to charge me 4 separate $5 charges on top with no receipt or explanation.
