  Great workout tool

I’ve been using Hevy to track all of my strength workouts, and it has become an extremely useful part of my training routine. I have several recurring workouts—Push, Pull, Legs, and Upper—and Hevy makes it very easy to record every exercise, weight, set, and rep while I’m at the gym. I especially like being able to look back and see exactly what I did during previous workouts. What has made it even more useful is combining Hevy with ChatGPT. After each workout, I copy my completed Hevy workout into ChatGPT, which compares it with my previous sessions and helps me decide where to increase weight or reps and where I should stay at the same level. Before my next workout, ChatGPT uses those results to give me specific targets for each exercise. It has essentially turned my Hevy workout history into an ongoing, personalized training program. The combination has been fantastic for progressive overload because I’m no longer relying on memory or guessing what I should do next. I can see small improvements from workout to workout while also being reminded not to push an exercise too quickly when form, balance, or an old injury is a consideration. Hevy provides an excellent, simple record of what I actually accomplished, and paired with ChatGPT, it has made my workouts much more organized, measurable, and purposeful.

  Surprisingly Motivating

Me and a few friends use this app, and I didn’t expect it to stick for me, but I really do find myself getting motivated to hit the gym and make another hevy post to let the gang know I’m still putting in work. It’s a great way to put my vanity to work
