Their new cloud removed over 2000 notes of mine!

Ive used this app for the past 6 yEARS. I LOVED IT! Thousands of notes from my masters and such valuable stuff of mien is on this app. I got a new iPad and signed into notability, something I’ve done dozens of times previously. This time, all my notes for the most part of just, missing? Why would this happen notability? Ive used iCloud for years, kept all my devices in sync, why am I missing all of my notes? I’m completely devastated. I need them back! Thank goodness I had the Google Drive backup, but they’re .not files and are unorganized. Even whatever is saved in iCloud Drive is not organized. Thanks notability for this major headache. This needs to be resolved before I start recommending apple notes, something I rather not use, to my friends, family, and students.

App deleted my work ALL OF IT

In the middle of using it to create a very detailed note that took weeks that had been opened and closed multiple times (was clearly saved) a cloud popped up and froze the screen. I don’t have it set to sync, I didn’t ask it to. I don’t have an absence of storage. I did everything right, and it deleted my entire note with no way to recover it. It’s just infuriating, and if I had been using that for school notes it could’ve been detrimental. So I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND using this app for anything important that you don’t want to lose. Would be a phenomenal app if this weren’t a problem. This has happened twice now, both with notes that cannot be replaced without weeks of work.
