## Future Support This is the support policy as of 2026/05/17. AppIcon was developed as a tool for batch exporting PNG/ICO icons for each platform from a single image. However, major platforms increasingly require more than simple resized images. Apple is moving toward single multi-layer Liquid Glass icons made with Icon Composer, Android commonly uses Image Asset Studio to tune Adaptive Icons, and Web/PWA icons may need separate designs such as maskable icons. For this reason, AppIcon is ending active feature development and will be provided in maintenance mode. We will maintain bug fixes, macOS compatibility, build environment updates, the existing PNG/ICO batch export feature, and accurate App Store listing information. Dedicated generation or preview features for Liquid Glass icons, Icon Composer formats, Android Adaptive Icon, PWA maskable icons, and similar platform-specific formats are not planned. AppIcon will remain a small helper for quickly exporting PNG/ICO icon images, not a replacement for the latest platform-specific icon creation tools. --- AppIcon is a convenient application that can batch generate icon images of various sizes required for iOS, watchOS, macOS, Android, and websites. ## Super Simple Usage 1.
