Ask Filos Companion

Ask Filos Companion is a bilingual (Arabic–English) legal information copilot built for Kuwait. It helps users explore Kuwaiti legal materials and concepts efficiently through source-grounded answers and structured outputs.
■ What you can do: 
● Chat with the Kuwait agent (Kuwait is the only active jurisdiction at launch). 
● The app includes three agents in total: the Kuwait agent is available at launch, and two additional GCC country agents are visible but locked for future release. 
● Upload documents (PDF/DOC) and images to get structured summaries and extract key points for faster review. 
● Send a voice note the app transcribes it into text and responds in text. 
● See references/citations when available from retrieved legal sources.

■ Roadmap (GCC expansion): 
● After the Kuwait launch, we plan to expand by unlocking additional GCC jurisdictions (starting with UAE, then Saudi Arabia), subject to availability and release schedules.

■ How answers are generated: 
● The Kuwait agent follows strict retrieval rules: responses are generated only from retrieved legal materials available in the app’s knowledge base (e.g., laws, articles, and precedents). 
● When relevant source text is found, the response references the retrieved materials (withcitations when available). 
● If the agent does not find relevant text in the retrieved materials, it will respond clearly that it did not find relevant text.

■ Privacy & data handling: 
● Files and media you submit in chat are processed ephemerally and deleted after processing. 
● Account creation is required. During signup, we may collect basic information such as name, email, phone number, and country of residence to manage your account and service access. 
● We use analytics tooling (e.g., Firebase) to monitor performance and improve reliability, and may use CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for lead and customer management. 
● Processing is hosted on Azure infrastructure (UAE North).

■ Subscriptions: A free tier is available, with optional subscriptions purchased through Apple In-App Purchase to unlock additional usage and features.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions can be managed and canceled by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
