Works completely offline; no internet connection required. TWO READING MODES Teleprompter Read aloud and Onyx follows your voice. Speech recognition highlights each word as you say it and auto-scrolls to keep your place. Works with 63 languages supported by Apple's on-device speech engine; no internet needed. Speed Reader (RSVP) Words flash one at a time using Rapid Serial Visual Presentation. Set your pace from 100 to 800 WPM, adjust words-per-flash from 1 to 3, and read faster than ever. Each word is positioned at its Optimal Recognition Point for maximum readability. When you finish, Onyx shows your session stats: actual WPM, reading time, word count, and estimated retention. WORKS EVERYWHERE The overlay sits above all windows, including fullscreen apps. Present with Keynote, read from a PDF, or follow a script while recording; Onyx stays on top.
