ReSet - Timer is a minimal strength-training rest timer. The core flow is: log a set, start or restart the rest countdown, then continue from the app or Live Activity. The app uses Live Activities and AlarmKit to surface the active rest timer on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Lock-screen actions are intentional product behavior: - "Log Set" logs the next set and immediately restarts the rest countdown. - "Cancel Rest" stops the current countdown. - "Reset Workout" requires local device authentication. The app does not require account creation or sign-in. Workout state is stored locally on device using App Group UserDefaults shared between the app and widget extension. Workout history is also backed up to the user's private iCloud account via CloudKit for cross-device restore. No workout data is sent to a developer-owned backend or third-party service.
