How it works
Pick the apps that pull you under — TikTok, Instagram, whatever your loop is. When your thumb reaches for one of them, Grounded interrupts with a 15-second awareness check before the app opens.
Six different checks rotate so your brain never habituates:
Breath Reset — two slow breaths guided by a fibonacci spiral
One Breath — a single, slower breath, for when two feels like too much
Body Check — notice where you're holding tension
The Noticing — what's actually happening in this moment
Emotional Temp — how are you feeling, in one word
Honest Mirror — ask yourself why you reached for the phone
After the check, you decide: open the app for 2, 5, or 10 minutes — or leave it open until you decide to re-lock it yourself.
