Honest Tan: UV Index & Timer

Tanning has a speed limit. Most apps do not tell you.

Honest Tan shows the real UV index for where you are, hour by hour, using WeatherKit with Open-Meteo fallback if WeatherKit is unavailable. No estimates dressed up as certainty. Just the UV forecast overhead, plus a calmer way to time a session.

Plan for the kinder hours. Most days have a window before peak UV and one after, when a session is less of a fight. Open the app, look at the curve, and pick a time that respects how the sun actually moves.

Start a session and the timer runs. When it ends, it ends. Optional reminders nudge you to flip, reapply sunscreen, or step into shade. Reminders, not medical advice.

Your setup can include an optional on-device photo-assisted shade estimate. It can be skipped, adjusted, and is used only to make the routine summary feel more personal. It is not a diagnosis, risk score, or medical assessment.
