Most apps round to the nearest city. HookWise computes the sun and moon for your spot's exact coordinates using standard astronomical methods, verified against the U.S. Naval Observatory's published data. Major periods follow the century-old solunar tradition: the two hours centered on the moon's overhead and underfoot passes; minors at moonrise and moonset.

Everything goes through the App Store. Trials remind you before they convert, cancelling takes two taps in iOS Settings, and there is a one-time Lifetime option if you hate subscriptions. The free tier is not a trial: the 7-day times stay free either way, enforced in the app's code.

Solunar times are a traditional planning reference that anglers have used for a century. They are an aid, not a promise: season, weather, water, and local knowledge matter at least as much. HookWise tells you when the odds tilt your way; the fish still get a vote.

HookWise Pro is an auto-renewing subscription; a one-time lifetime unlock is also offered. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
