Cleaner helps you reclaim storage on your Mac and in iCloud by finding the photos and videos that eat the most space — without ever deleting anything behind your back. WHAT IT DOES • Finds your largest videos and offers to replace them with smaller, high-quality compressed copies (HEVC, Dolby Vision preserved). • Groups similar and burst photos so you can keep the best shots and clear the duplicates. • Surfaces low-value clutter: very short clips, dark or blurry frames, screenshots and documents. • Shows exactly how much space you can free before you commit. ON-DEVICE AND PRIVATE All analysis runs on your Mac. Your photos and videos never leave your device. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no data collection. YOU STAY IN CONTROL Cleaner never deletes anything itself. Items you choose for cleanup go into a dedicated review album so you can check and delete them manually in Photos. OPTIONAL LOCAL AI If you run a local AI model (such as Ollama) on your own machine, Cleaner can use it to pick the best shots in a series. This is optional, off by default, and talks only to your own server.
