Infotra – Identity Search

From the App Store Source

Infotra – Identity Search is a data breach monitoring application designed to help users check their email addresses for compromise in known data leaks. It provides detailed reports for each identified breach, specifying the types of compromised data, such as passwords, personal information, or financial details. The application maintains a history of all scans performed, allowing users to track their online security status over time. By inputting an email address, Infotra scans vast databases of breached information to identify any instances where that email and associated personal data may have been exposed. The detailed reports offer crucial insights into the nature and extent of each data leak, enabling users to understand the risks they might be facing. This includes information on which specific data points were compromised, such as usernames, passwords, phone numbers, physical addresses, and dates of birth, depending on the breach. The history feature serves as a personal security log, recording each scan and its findings. Users can revisit past results to see if new breaches have occurred or if their information has been compromised in previously unknown incidents. This proactive monitoring and detailed reporting empower users to take necessary steps, such as changing passwords and increasing security awareness, to protect their digital identity and mitigate potential harm from data breaches. Infotra aims to provide peace of mind by offering a clear and accessible way to stay informed about an individual's online security posture.
