The design workflow centers on the Paint Bay, where you compose your helmet livery layer by layer. You start by selecting your shell from the Shell Picker, viewing the exact helmet model you'll be customizing. Once in the Paint Bay, you access the Layer Editor, where each graphic, base coat, and color variant lives as a separate, editable layer. Alignment grids overlay your shell so you can position graphics with precision. You control paint density for each element—darker, lighter, matte, glossy—and you can flip graphics automatically to mirror your design across the helmet's symmetry. As you work, the Booth Progress Strip shows you how close your design is to completion, and you can preview exactly how money will be charged: precise to the dollar, or rounded to the nearest five, depending on your shop's pricing model.

The Design Rack and Livery Loft let you browse and save designs before you commit. In the Booth Gallery, you explore the styles and shell options available at your partnered shop, including booth hours and real-time availability. Each design lives on your Design Shelf, a personal library where you can revisit, modify, and repurpose your work across multiple helmets. The system remembers every layer in the stack, every graphic you've placed, and every paint setting you've tweaked, so your designs persist and remain refinable.

Once your design is ready, the Quote Sheet generates an instant, accurate price for your respray. The app calculates labor, materials, and shop overhead using precise logic, so you see exactly what your custom helmet will cost before you commit. Payment happens through the Paint Credits system, which tracks your balance and charges per job. You load credits into the app, and they're deducted as you complete projects—no surprise invoices, no confusing shop billing.

Drop Off Day and Pickup Log orchestrate the physical process. You select your drop-off date from the shop's calendar, confirm which bay your helmet will go into, and receive a ticket with all your design specifications embedded. The app shows you real-time status: when your helmet arrives at the shop, when it enters the painting queue, and when it's ready for pickup. You collect your finished shell from the Finish Lab, where painted helmets are inspected and staged for collection.

Shop Details gives you everything about your partnered painter: booth hours, location, which paint types and shells they support, and their current workload. Booth Prefs lets you choose how you want information displayed—show booth hours beside prices, display the nearest five pricing tier, or configure which graphics are available from your painter's library. The Garage stores every helmet you've ordered, complete with specifications and history. This matters because painters sometimes tweak shells after respray for repair or touch-up, and Pickup Log shows you exactly which shells are waiting and when they're ready.
