About

From the App Store Source
Den is a collection of 21 calming soundscapes, composed in real time for dogs — and for the people who share a home with them. Every session is synthesized live on your device. Nothing loops and nothing streams: pure tones, slow heartbeat rhythms, pink noise, rain, and legato progressions are built note by note for the exact frequencies and tempos each program calls for. The only recordings in the app are two short door-knock and doorbell sounds used by the Practice programs. THE LIBRARY 21 programs across 8 sections — Heartbeat & Rhythm, Healing Frequencies, Brainwave Entrainment, Stressful Events, Life Stage, Nature & Environment, Music & Full Sessions, and Practice. Each one carries a plain-English explanation and the research behind it, cited in the app. MADE FOR SETTLING • Programs from 20 minutes to 4 hours, or until you stop them • A gentle fade-in and a 2-minute fade-out at the end, so sessions end softly • Playback continues when you lock the screen or switch apps, with play and pause on the lock screen • A night dim that settles the player to near-black after 30 seconds • Session notes so you can record whether your dog settled, stayed the same, or was restless THOUGHTFUL DETAILS • Set your dog's name and photo once, and Den greets them by name • Suggestions that read the moment: a program for car travel when Bluetooth connects, evening programs at dusk • Large, calm controls — nothing flashes, nothing surprises PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no ads, no notifications, no tracking. Everything your dog does in Den stays on your device. Den is company for the nervous system — a quiet room your phone can hold open. It is not a substitute for veterinary care; if your dog is in distress, please talk to your veterinarian.
