About

From the App Store Source
A tune library for players of traditional music. Fonn keeps your tunes the way you actually use them: the notation, the sound of it, the recordings and links that go with a tune, and the sets you play them in. It works in flight mode, because the places people play are often the places with no signal. THE MUSIC - Sheet music engraved from ABC notation, with playback on flute, whistle, fiddle and more - Slow a tune right down without changing its key, and loop the bars you are working on - Transpose with a tap, and save the result as a proper version rather than a display setting - A metronome that runs with the tune or on its own, with a click-timing nudge - A tuner YOUR LIBRARY - Search and filter by type, key, mode, rating and collection - Alternative settings of a tune are grouped as versions, not scattered as duplicates - Build sets and hear the join between one tune and the next. Use a Circle of Fifths tool to create sets. - Attach recordings, videos, photographs of printed music, PDFs and links to any tune - Find the duplicates that creep into any library and merge them - Organise your tunes using collections GETTING TUNES IN - Search online from inside the app - Import ABC files, MusicXML, whole folders, or paste notation straight in - Links to music scanner apps to allow you to create Music XML files which can then be added straight to the library. - Everything goes through a review screen first — nothing is written to your library without you seeing it ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Switch on iCloud and the same library is on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. It syncs through your own iCloud account — there is no Fonn account, no Fonn server, and nobody but you can see any of it. Buy it once. No subscription, no adverts, no analytics, no account. Your library is yours.
