NOVA LEARN

Nova Learn is an all-in-one Sri Lankan e-learning platform that helps O ⁄ L and A ⁄ L science students study smarter on any device. The ios app and installable web version deliver syllabus-aligned video lessons, printable notes and guided labs across Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combined Mathematics, ICT and more. The built-in exam hub offers unlimited multiple-choice question banks, past-paper walkthroughs and timed mock tests with instant step-by-step solutions, while personal dashboards track streaks, highlight weak areas and forecast grades. Real-time chat, discussion boards and push-notification reminders keep learners connected to peers and instructors even on slow connections, thanks to a lightweight 50 MB Firebase-powered back-end that provides encrypted authentication, offline caching and secure splash protection. Tutors and administrators can manage courses, schedule exams, broadcast announcements and monitor learner performance through a web console, ensuring fresh content every week. Nova Learn version 2.0.7 launched on 23 July 2025 and is actively developed by M. F. M. Rifath (Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna).
