RWECS — Walking & Race Walking Training

RWECS is a walking and race walking training app designed for athletes who want to record sessions and analyze technique.
The app works independently on your iPhone and can be enhanced with optional external sensors for advanced feedback.

Core Features
Session Recording.
Record walking and race walking sessions.
Track duration, distance, pace, and route.
Sessions continue recording when the phone is locked or in a pocket.
Optional Sensor Integration.
Connect RWECS wearable sensors via Bluetooth to receive Loss of Contact (LoC) metrics.
Connect a heart-rate monitor for heart-rate tracking.
External sensors are optional — sessions can be recorded without them.
Session Analysis.
Session maps and timelines.
Summary statistics for each workout.
Advanced Loss of Contact analysis when compatible sensors are connected.

Includes an Apple Watch app that can record sessions independently, without the iPhone nearby.

Location Usage
RWECS uses location services during an active session to:
Record distance and route.
Continue recording when the app is in the background (for example, when the phone is in a pocket).
Location data is used only while a session is active.

Bluetooth Usage
Bluetooth is used only to connect optional external sensors, such as RWECS devices and heart-rate monitors, to enhance training metrics.

Pro Subscription (Optional)
RWECS offers an optional Pro subscription that provides access to the full session history (beyond the most recent 7 sessions), detailed charts for recorded session data, and the ability to connect a second RWECS device.
Core session recording on iPhone and Apple Watch remains available without a subscription.
