Penalty Shoot-out simulator is an instructional app that demonstrates using the Rule-of-Six to determine if a team has an insurmountable lead during the first five rounds of a soccer Penalty Shoot-out. The user can set up a simulated shoot-out, setting the number of eligible players, the names and colors of the teams, then enter results of each team's turns one-by-one. The app keeps track of the goals scored and a Rule-of-6 tally for each team. A team gets a Rule-of-6 tally mark for each of their goals, and each of their opponent misses. If either team's Rule-of-6 tally reaches six before the end of the fifth round, that team has an insurmountable lead and is the winner. The app also provides referees a printable Penalty Shoot-out scorecard that incorporates the Rule-of-6.
