About

From the App Store Source
Song Bits is a simple voice recorder with a lot of little features to make it easy and fast to work on your song ideas. Some of the key features: - The files are plain .m4a files pointed at a folder your iCloud Drive. No more having to export each file to be able to hear it on your MacBook or iPad. You can add files to that directory on your other devices, and when you open up the Song Bits app, it'll include them. - You can keep your ideas organized by folder, and if a file doesn't go into a specific folder, it goes into the "unfiled" folder. You'll appreciate this if you've ever lost a file in the Voice Memos app "All Recordings". - Skip leading silence option on playback that automatically jumps the playback slider to the start of your audio on playback. No need to trim your files, and it's non-destructive. - A regular play/pause button, and also a return-to-playback play button that rewinds to where playback began when you press the pause button so you can audition the same part over without having to scrub. - Overdub! Record a new part while an existing bit plays. For example, sing a melody over a guitar idea, and Song Bits will save a new recording with the old and new parts combined. Plus many more features, all designed for a simple and fast workflow that doesn't get in the way of your creativity.
