Glown is a different kind of messaging app. Instead of a feed, you leave short neon-styled notes at real places — and your friends discover them floating in their camera view when they walk nearby.
DROP A NOTE ANYWHERE
Write a few words, pick a color and an icon, and anchor it to where you're standing. A drop might mark a great coffee spot, a meeting point, or just a moment. Friends nearby see it glowing in AR through their camera, or as a pin on the map.
BEAM IT INSTANTLY
Want to reach a friend right now? Beam a note straight to them. It takes over their screen the moment they open the app — then it's gone.
EVERYTHING FADES
Drops and beams expire automatically, by default after 24 hours. Glown isn't a permanent record. It's for the fleeting, the spontaneous, the right-now.
FRIENDS ONLY
No public feed. No strangers in your space. You add friends with a simple share code or invite link, and you choose exactly who sees each note.
CIRCUITS
Group your friends into circuits for shared drops and beams. Create a locked circuit when you want to be the only one posting — useful for organizing a group around a place or an event, with others joining by QR code.
BUILT FOR THE REAL WORLD
Glown uses your camera and location to place notes in physical space. AR location anchoring has real-world accuracy limits — GPS isn't perfect — but the magic is in the discovery: turning a corner and finding a friend left something glowing, just for you.
— Friends-only, no public feed
— Notes expire automatically
— Your content is never sold, never used to train AI
— Report and block tools built in
— Delete your account and data anytime, from inside the app
Glown is a small, independent app. Made for friends, not for scale.
