The platform's philosophy is centered around the burning desire to showcase, restore and preserve the Zimbabwean way of life through highlighting stories which resonate, faces that are familiar and sounds that edify, whilist contributing towards a collective sense of worth,  of pride and of being.
The name of the platform/app is a derivative of the West African griot who is a historian, storyteller, poet or musician and is a repository of oral tradition.
