Movie Monsters

'Movie Monsters' is an App designed to demonstrate how a visit to any Movie Theatre can become a hybrid ‘e-Gaming / Storytelling’ experience - the movie becomes the canvas upon which the story is told, while the featured monsters and demons then emerge from the screen to be battled in real life using just your mobile phone! Published by Second Screen Entertainment Ltd, and using a ‘first person shooter’ game mechanic, Movie Monsters in turn demonstrates how to unlock incremental value from movie catalogues, using our patented gaming/mapping technology to give iconic films a second life in cinemas as ‘Immersive Interactive Events’. Without adjusting any aspect of a movie, our proprietary ‘AR Enhanced’™ contextual mapping technology for auditoriums, cloud-based ‘CinAdmin’™ controller (to co-ordinate and schedule interactive elements), and companion ‘AR Mobile Games’add the dimension of synchronised, themed game-play, breaking down barriers between the screen and audience. This evolves any narrative from a ‘passive’ to an ‘active’ audience experience, while helping to shape not just how stories are ‘seen’, but how they are experienced and ‘lived’. This hybrid Movie / eGaming strategy in-turn creates a new, potentially high-yielding Event category for the movie industry, transforming Movie Theatres into Theme Parks, while making the audience active participants in the story; joining battles and participating in adventures. Our patented technology, which can also be deployed for TV and Stage events, therefore presents a unique opportunity for incremental revenues, delivering substantial data collection opportunities, while potentially reduced marketing costs. Ask for a demo today, and let us show you how your movie can enjoy a second life in cinemas with Second Screen Entertainment!
