Your data is encrypted on your device, securely transferred, and stays encrypted on the server until the recipient retrieves it. 2. Where is my data stored? Your encrypted data is temporarily stored on a secure server in Germany (hosted by Hetzner in Nuremberg) before being sent to the recipient. No personal data is ever stored on the server, and your content is only there until it’s securely downloaded. 3. What happens if I reset my user ID? Resetting your user ID generates a new key pair using Curve25519 encryption.
