Profiler: Find Local Talent

Profiler is how independent professionals get found for the specific thing they do. Search for the exact skill you need — "silk press," "knotless braids," "private chef for six," "wedding videographer," "wardrobe stylist" — and find the person who actually does it, near you. Not a category page. Not a directory of businesses. The individual whose finished work matches what you asked for. SEARCH IN PLAIN ENGLISH Someone looking for knotless braids is not searching "hair salon." Someone who needs a private chef is not searching "catering." Ask for the thing you want, the way you'd say it out loud, and get people who specialize in exactly that, near you. WHO YOU'LL FIND Barbers, hair stylists, braiders, loc techs, nail techs, lash artists and estheticians. Wardrobe stylists, tailors, designers, models and personal shoppers. Photographers, videographers, DJs, musicians, dancers and hosts. Private chefs, caterers, bakers and bartenders. And the specialties inside each of those that no category page has a name for. COMPARE BEFORE YOU DECIDE Put professionals side by side — rate, availability, response time, reliability, rating, and real portfolio work. Decide with information instead of scrolling three Instagram grids and guessing. JUDGE THE WORK, NOT THE ADVERTISING Every profile is built on finished work, tagged to the skill that produced it. What you see is what you'd be getting. SEE WHO IS NEAR YOU Browse professionals, services and events around you. Save the ones worth coming back to. IF YOU'RE THE PROFESSIONAL BE FOUND FOR WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO List your specialties the way clients name them, not the way a category page names them. A nail tech who does chrome should turn up when someone searches chrome nails. A chef who cooks for eight in a home kitchen should turn up when someone searches that. Being found for your niche is the entire product. YOUR WORK IS THE PITCH A portfolio, not a feed. Finished work, tagged to the skill that produced it, in front of someone deciding right now. Skills, endorsements and reviews sit on the same profile. KEEP THE SYSTEM YOU ALREADY HAVE Profiler is not trying to replace what you already run. On Acuity, Square, or your own site? Turn on discovery-only. Clients find you here and go where you already work. Nothing to migrate, nothing to relearn. OR TAKE APPOINTMENTS HERE IF YOU'D RATHER No system yet? Set your services, prices and hours, take appointments and payments through Stripe, and track earnings. Optional, and off by default. EVENTS Running a pop-up, teaching a class, or working a booth at a show? Create the event, sell tickets, check people in with a QR code, and see how it performed. WHAT IT COSTS Downloading Profiler is free. Building a profile is free. Being found is free. If you choose to take payments in the app, Stripe processes them and Profiler takes a percentage of that transaction — nothing before then. No subscriptions. Profiler is early. The professionals on it are real and the work on their profiles is their own. Questions: [email protected]
