This Book's Travels

Embark on a Global Adventure — One Book at a Time What if your bookshelf could tell stories beyond the ones written on its pages? Imagine tracking the journey of a single book as it travels across cities, borders, and oceans—passed from one curious reader to the next. With our app, you’re not just reading stories — you’re *living* them. Welcome to a new kind of adventure — where books are passports, stories are souvenirs, and every page turned is a step on an epic journey. Our app transforms the way you interact with books. Whether you're passing along a beloved novel to a stranger or finding a book left behind in a café halfway across the world, you can track its voyage, trace its history, and follow the path it takes through the hands and hearts of other readers. Track the Journey Every book has a story — and we don’t just mean the one printed inside. When you register a book in our app, you begin a digital trail. Log where you found it, where you're leaving it, or where you’re sending it next. Add personal notes, photos, or reading experiences. When someone else picks it up and scans it, they’ll see your entry, add their own, and continue the story. You’ll get updates as your book travels the globe, changing hands and changing lives. Watch as your well-loved novel hops from a Parisian bookshop to a Tokyo hostel, then gets tucked into a backpack bound for the Andes. Or see how your childhood favourite inspires readers across a dozen cities, each one leaving their mark. Discover New Books and Unexpected Destinations The journey doesn’t stop with your own collection. Delve into other books that our fellow community have been reading and travelling with and gain from their experiences along the way. Each book trail will show you where it started, where it has been and where it currently is. Maybe you'll discover someone in Lisbon's suggestion of a book that changed their life, or a reader in Buenos Aires leaves a note about a hidden gem of a bookstore. You’ll uncover not only your next favourite read, but perhaps your next travel destination. Connect Through Storytelling This isn’t just about tracking paperbacks — it’s about connecting people through stories. Our app brings together a community of travelers, readers, writers, and wanderers. Leave notes for the next reader. Share why you loved (or didn’t love) a book. Tell the story of how you found it. Was it tucked into a seat-back pocket on a train through Italy? Did you stumble across it on a park bench in New York? These moments become part of the book’s living narrative — a shared story stitched together across time and place. The more people a book touches, the richer its journey becomes. A Literary Travel Companion Traveling soon? Use the app to find books and places nearby that are waiting to be discovered. Get in touch and maybe we can even connect you with these books. Looking for a quiet café in Prague with the best atmosphere for reading poetry? A scenic park in Kyoto where someone left a fantasy novel under a bench? Our community-driven tips and tags guide you to literary landmarks both famous and hidden. Join the Movement This is more than an app — it’s a movement. A way to turn reading into an adventure and traveling into a deeper connection with the world through books. By tracking the journeys of the stories you love, you’re not only preserving a personal memory, but you’re also becoming part of something bigger: a global network of readers sharing culture, curiosity, and the joy of discovery. So go ahead — leave a book behind. Pick one up. Track its story. Share your own. Adventure awaits, one book at a time.
