Microtask Menu

Microtask Menu keeps you focused by displaying your current task right in the macOS menu bar. No complicated project management — just a simple, prioritized list of things to do. Your topmost undone task is your active task, highlighted with an orange circle and shown in the menu bar. Complete it, and the next one automatically takes its place. This simple principle keeps you focused on one thing at a time. Features: - Active task always visible in the menu bar - Add tasks or mark them done directly from the menu bar - Manage multiple task lists in separate windows - Three task states: todo, completed, and canceled - Drag & drop to reorder or move tasks between lists - Full keyboard shortcut support for fast task management - Quick access to recent lists from the menu bar - Task lists are stored as plain markdown files, so they work with any text editor and apps like Obsidian or iA Writer. Your data stays yours, in an open format. --- Available in 11 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Indonesian, Hindi, and Bengali.
