WalkFindr

Walkfindr generates scenic walks from wherever you are. Pick a duration or a destination, choose places you'd like to pass through, and head out the door — the app handles the rest. DISCOVER WALKS YOUR WAY Select from 15 to 120 minutes and Walkfindr builds a circular walking route that brings you back to your starting point. Or switch to A-to-B mode and get the scenic way to anywhere — the station, a friend's house, the pub. Choose waypoints like pubs, restaurants, cafes, churches, landmarks or viewpoints so your walk includes stops worth making. SMARTER, CLEANER ROUTES Routes follow real footpaths and public ways. Built-in intelligence avoids paid-entry heritage sites and steers clear of dead-end detours, so every walk feels coherent and well-planned. Not quite right? Open the route editor, add or move stops, and reroute in a tap. COMMUNITY ROUTES Discover walks shared by other walkers near you, and share your own favourites with a tap. No account or sign-up — it works quietly through iCloud. AN AUDIO COMPANION Turn on narration and your walk talks back: scenic spots announced as you approach them, kilometre milestones along the way, and a warm welcome as you set off. It politely ducks your music and podcasts. EXPLORE EVERY STREET Exploration mode charts the unique ground you've covered and, when you ask it to, deliberately routes you down streets you've never walked. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Each route shows distance, estimated time, calories, step count and a difficulty rating — Easy, Moderate or Hard. A smart weather card scans the next 36 hours and tells you the best window to walk — dry, mild and bright — with an optional reminder when it arrives. LIVE NAVIGATION — PHONE AND WRIST Follow turn-by-turn directions with GPS auto-advance. See your stats update in real time — time, distance, calories, elevation gain and steps. On Apple Watch, glance at your progress and feel a gentle tap when a turn is coming up. Mindfulness prompts appear along the way to help you stay present. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Build a walking streak by heading out every day. Set a weekly distance goal and watch your progress bar fill up. Dive into Trends & Training for charts of your weekly distance, monthly totals, pace progression and personal records. Earn points, unlock milestones from First Steps to Legend, and look back through your complete walk history with photos and notes. WALK BEYOND SIGNAL Download offline regions — maps and footpaths for up to 8 km around any point — so saved walks keep working in the hills, on the coast, and anywhere the bars disappear. SAVE AND SHARE Bookmark routes to walk again later, complete with offline map snapshots and cached directions. Share walks with friends — they'll get the difficulty, steps, a direct Apple Maps link and a download link for Walkfindr. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Walkfindr uses your location only to generate routes. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and zero third-party dependencies — pure Apple frameworks. Your walk history stays on your device; the only thing that ever leaves it is a route you choose to share with the community.
