BrainON Manuscript Counter

Word count for DOCX and PDF, the way book designers count. BrainON Manuscript Counter reads a DOCX or PDF file right on your iPhone — a manuscript, a book, an article or any other document — and shows the numbers that matter: words, characters with and without spaces, images and the places where they appear in the text, tables, lists, footnotes, endnotes and comments. OPEN FROM ANYWHERE Tap Select File, or share a DOCX or PDF to the app from Files, Mail or any other app. COUNTS THE WAY WORD DOES Words and characters are counted the way desktop Microsoft Word counts them, so the numbers match what you already know. MORE FROM A PDF For a PDF you also get the page count, page size and bleed, fonts, image colour and resolution, bookmarks and links. COPY AND SHARE Copy the statistics, send them by Mail or Messages, or save them as a text file to Files or Pages. SEE WHAT A BOOK LAYOUT COSTS Choose your book type and see an estimate for interior layout, images, translation and proofreading, with the same prices as the calculator on brainon.ca. Switch between USD and CAD. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your manuscript is processed on your iPhone and is never uploaded. No account, no ads, no tracking. Made by BrainON Publishing: book design, interior layout and ebook formatting for authors.
