Overview: MedLeb Patient Guide is a dedicated application designed for the patient

Overview:
MedLeb Patient Guide is a dedicated application designed for the patient. Its primary mission is to foster a culture of patient-centered medicine while providing resources for users seeking information on marketed drugs.
Key Milestones:
Initial Release: The app made its debut on November 14, 2022.
Beta Version: The official Beta version was launched by the Ministry of Public Health and released on January 13, 2023.
User Adoption: To date, over 159,911 users have downloaded MedLeb and benefited from the app.
What's New?
In the upcoming version, we're thrilled to introduce exciting new features. Some are available immediately upon download, without the need to create an account, while others require account creation for enhanced functionality.
No-Account Features:
Search for medication by typing its name, active ingredient, or by scanning the QR code on the packaging.
Access information related to the medication, such as ingredients, dosage, form, route of administration, therapeutic category, and pricing information, including the drug's price, the added profits, and subsidization percentage, as well as registration details such as registration number, importer, manufacturer, and country of origin.
For some medications, users can also see the price per unit. For example, a cheaper medication package may contain fewer tablets, making the more expensive package more cost-effective.
Find substitutes for the drug: By clicking on "Substitute," users can see a list of drugs that can replace the one they searched for. The list is arranged from the lowest to the highest price.
Set medication Reminder schedules: The application will allow users to schedule medication intake times and will provide reminders when the medication supply is running low, with the number of days specified according to the user's preference.
Locate the nearest hospitals and/or pharmacies based on their geographic location using Google Maps, enabling users to find the nearest pharmacy or hospital and navigate there.
Add medications to Saved Lists and therefore calculate the total prices.
Access the search history.
Account-Based Features:
Any individual, citizen, or resident can create a "Patient" account to obtain an NPI or National Patient ID. This account must be authenticated by the Ministry of Public Health, a doctor, or a pharmacist. Patients can rate pharmacies on the application, ranging from very poor to excellent, based on the pharmacy's performance. Additionally, patients can locate the nearest drug sale point based on their geographical location after selecting the medication they need.
