Bite is an all-in-one recipe app, social cookbook, and meal planner that helps you save & organize recipes ad-free, import recipes from anywhere, and build your personal cookbook. It is built around the idea that every favorite recipe comes from someone you know. I always found my favorite recipes through friends and family, so I created Bite - a place that gives people access to the recipes of their inner circle.
Instead of losing recipes in screenshots, texts, notes, or saved reels, Bite keeps them all in one clean and fun app.

IMPORT RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE
Stop copying out recipes by hand. Share an Instagram cooking reel or post to Bite and the recipe is pulled from the caption. Share any recipe website, or paste a link, and the recipe is read off the page. Photograph a handwritten card or cookbook page and Bite transcribes it. You can even turn photos of a dish you cooked into a draft recipe. Every import lands in your cookbook already saved and formatted.

RECIPE DISCOVERY
Discover recipes from friends, family, or the web. Bite is connected with Google Search, so you can find millions of recipes in a clean ad-free format inside the app. Follow your friends & family and discover their recipes on their profiles or by scrolling the food feed!

SAVE RECIPES
Save and organize recipes into folders, and edit any recipe you save. While viewing a recipe, add ingredients to your grocery cart by tapping them, and cross off steps as you cook. You can also scale servings and switch between metric and imperial - the original recipe is never changed.

PERSONAL COOKBOOK
Turn your tried & loved recipes into a structured cookbook to reference later and share with your circle! Snap a picture of a meal you cooked and upload it with the recipe. Tried a friend's recipe? Tap "add to cookbook" to grow your cookbook and inspire others.

SOCIAL COOKING APP
Follow friends and family to see what they are cooking. Share recipes with photos and build a social cookbook together. You can also share any recipe via iMessage, WhatsApp, and more.

FOOD PHOTO POSTS
Post what you cook, attach optional recipes, and build a visual food diary that becomes your own cookbook.

MEAL PLANNER & GROCERY LIST

Bite is free to use, including unlimited imports from recipe websites and up to 15 saved recipes. Bite Pro ($2.99/month) unlocks unlimited saved recipes, Instagram reel imports, scanning handwritten cards and cookbook pages, and generating recipes from your own photos.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Apple Account settings, or in Bite under profile > manage plan.
